A 34th minute Milton Kaliisa strike was enough to ensure visitors BUL FC sunk Express FC at the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku on Tuesday evening in the Azam Uganda Premier League.
The home team will have themselves to blame for a number of clear cut chances created only for John Ssemazzi and Herman Wasswa to fire blanks infront of the BUL FC goal.
Express will also blame the match officials for the substandard handling of the game at Wankulukuku that saw them denied a penalty in the second half on top of poor officiation decisions.

Frank Video Anyau’s team was also unlucky for not taking the lead further after failure to covert a series of chances they got throughout the game.
The defeat at home ensured Express FC were condemned their first defeat in the 2016/2017 Azam Uganda Premier League.
In an interview with ChimpSport, Anyau however said he was not happy with his strikers whom he described as being goal shy and missed a number of chances created by his team.
“This has continued to confirm this country produces defenders and goalkeepers but not strikers. The win means nothing because we have to continue winning,” Anyau noted.
The BUL FC tactician said the league is still tight with all teams trying hard to continue winning games in a bid to climb to the summit of the Uganda Premier League table.
“Only a few points are in between the table leaders and those at the bottom. I am grateful we got 3 points but we will keep fighting for more points.”
Express coach, Alex Gita however said the bluntness of his strikers cost the team as a number of chances were created only to be missed.
“This is the first game since the league begun that we have not been able to score but I hope to work and perfect it as we go into the next game,” Gita said.
The defeat left Express in the 6th position with 8 points whereas Jinja based BUL are 10th with 5 points on the Azam Uganda Premier League log after 5 games.
