FBL: Busia’s Malango Ndjidu Setting the Golden Boot Pace

Last season, Proline’s Edrisa ‘Torres’ Lubega entered history books by becoming the first player to score eleven goals in his first eleven Fufa big league games. He went on to scoop the golden boot with a total of 21 goals, with two coming in the playoffs finals.

This season has just entered match day four for most of the teams and Busia fisheries’ Malango Ndjidu already has six from four appearances.

The youngster hit the sixth to help his side to pick a one all away draw at the Barifa stadium against Dove All Stars. He scored a hattrick in his debut against Simba and a brace against Ndejje University.

The draw pushed the Joseph Mutyaba side to third place with eight points though have two games at hand.

In the other matches, Entebbe grabbed first win following a 2-0 result over Kataka FC while Artland Katale failed to overcome a stubborn Kira United who held to 1-1.

Maroons FC moved top of the Elgon group after pounding new boys Moroto FC 3-1 away. Suncity defeated Masavu 1-0 in Kasese.

The games continue on Saturday.
