
Former Nigerian and Arsenal Forward Nwankwo Kanu, who is now a Star Times ambassador, jetted in the country on Tuesday for a three days tour.
The celebrated football legend will be attending today’s Afcon Qualifier game between Uganda Cranes and Burkina Faso.
Kanu is also scheduled to visit the Mulago Heart Institute due to his heart problem history.
Kanu will also witness the inaugural match at KCCA FC’s home ground which will take place between SC Villa and KCCA FC
While speaking to press upon arrival, Kanu advised all football players to always be focused, hard working, and ready to sacrifice.
These he said were the the principles that enabled him fly at an early age in the football field.
“My parents were always behind me to keep me focused on achieving much in the football field,” he said.
He has wished Uganda Cranes victory against Burkina Faso a match he said, he can’t wait to watch.
