Bukooli North county are the inaugural champions of the Busoga Masaza Cup following an emphatic 3-1 victory over Bunha county in a highly attended final played at Bugembe stadium.

The event was graced by the Kyabazinga of Busoga William Wilberforce Kadhumbula Gabula Nadiope IV and several other dignitaries from the kingdom including Fufa president Eng. Moses Magogo.

Denis Baziba, Ronald Bakitware and Ronald Balyeku fired the champions to an early first half lead. Baziba scored the opening goal a minute from kickoff to send Bukooli fans into frenzy.
Bakitware doubled the lead after half hour and Balyeku put the last nail four minutes to halftime.

Kigulu county had earlier on beat Buzaaya to the bronze medal in a boring third place playoff played at the same venue.
