Bul FC coach Frank Anyau has lauded his boys for putting up a brilliant performance on Wednesday following the 3-1 victory over city rivals jinja Municipal Hippos at Kakindu stadium.
The match was ushered in confusion after a group of fretful fans appeared with banners indicating their dissatisfaction with the clubs poor form.
“That was a very sweet victory,” Anyau posed adding that “we had taken a very long time without such a good result. We have been playing quite well, creating hosts of chances but failing to execute them.”
Yunus Sibira, Blaize Nkolo and Shaka Ssozi scored the goals for the cooking oil manufacturers who had only scored five goals in ten outings.
“Yesterday (Wednesday) we worked very hard to improve our conversion rate. My team is a good one only that they need to be given time because they’re young. The league is full of draws and so am encouraged when we get a win. I know we shall improve a lot especially in the second round though it will not be as easy but we are upnto the task,” he added.
Bul FC’s next assignment is at Bugembe to face Sadolin Paints in another derby clash scheduled for Tuesday 15th November.
