
Kenya national team will have to play their international friendly against Mozambique without five of the team’s key players, the federation has revealed.
Belgian based star Ayub Masika Timbe who turns out for SK Lierse is among the biggest names that will miss the game due to an injury.
The other quartet include Tusker FC marksman Allan Wanga, Musa Mohammed, David Ochieng, and Paul Were.
“Timbe is out injured and as such is not available for selection on Saturday, while we have allowed Were and Ochieng to honor upcoming club assignments, on their club’s requests,” Kenya Coach Stanley Okumbi revealed.
He added that, “Wanga has not reported to camp, but to the sit out of the fixture due to personal engagements, while Musa was released yesterday after it became apparent that his passport would not be ready before Saturday.”
