Ndejje University and Ndejje Woodball club ladies team renew their fight this weekend as the fourth and final beach Woodball circuit climax on Sunday 13 November at the Sports Beach in Entebbe.
The two clubs dominate the top six positions in the current ranking with the university’s stars Joan Mukova and Sandra Nabaggala leading the race.
Joan leads with 75 points despite not winning any circuit this season.
She emerged fourth in the opening with 32 behind Zawedde, Namuddu and Operu.
She scored 29 in the 2nd round but faltered in the third to finish with 14, six adrift Nabaggala.
Sisters battle.
Nabaggala has accumulated 74 over the three courses, just one below Mukoova and two ahead of her sister Zawedde.
The two kinsfolks will fight for the honors with Nabaggala looking to replicate her sister’s last season achievement.
Zawedde won at the first off outing to go top but later slipped into second after a rather disappointing performance in the subsequent circuit.
Nabaggala won the third Circuit to skip two up to second position while condemning her sister (Zawedde) to third.
Mukoova is yet to win a Circuit at the Beach this year but tops the points log.
Her performance on the sand has been unpredictable; 4th at the 1st Circuit, 2nd at the 2nd Circuit and 7th at the 3rd Circuit.
