The Kitende sponsored boys propelled to the finals despite losing 1-0 in the return leg in Buikwe where they headed with a 2-0 advantage, goals from Erisa Sekisambu and Alfred Leku. The latter turned down a chance to play for the caterpillars early in the season.

The west Nile side launched a successful coup against the defending champions SC Villa winning 5-4 after post match penalties, the only game where the team failed to score in normal time. In fact keeper Nafion has conceded only one goal by Masavu’s Charles Odeke in the round of 64.
The Caterpillars have gone on to tame Busia (3-0), Soana (1-0) and a magnanimously thumping Entebbe Fc 5-0 in the two legged semifinals.
We don’t fear Vipers.
“They (vipers) are a better team interms of wealth and experience, we respect them a lot but we dont fear them!” Onduparaka coach Allan Kabonge told ChimpSport.
