Ibrahim Kongo and Solomon Walusimbi double strike in the second half against Sporting United FC propelled Maroons FC to just one point behind Rwenzori table leaders Ndejje University.

Walusimbi doubled the trouble for the hosts with a simple finish off Sydney Cheka’s first time cross.
Coach Asaph Tumwebaze rotated his forward line leaving out Patrick Kaddu, Raphael Winju Peter Otai for Kongo, Walusimbi and Cheka.
The 2-1 victory lifts Maroons to 18 points, one below Ndejje University with two games at hand.
