
William Osire Likiriat amassed 29 points in the sixth and final circuit to emerge champion of this year’s corporate Woodball circuit.
The sixth circuit was held on Sunday, November 27th at the Mandela National Stadium.
The Bank of Uganda star finished third from Sunday’s competition behind St. Joseph Technical Institute Kisubi’s duo Godfrey Bukenya and Rodgers Tayebwa.
Kisubi’s tally of 219 was the best in the men’s teams followed closely by Bank of Uganda (244) and Buganda Land Board (259).
Mary Nantumbwe reigned in the women’s category despite finishing second behind Ndejje Corporate Club’s Juliet Nakawunde. Nantumbwe finished with 131 points.

Thirteen teams took part in the event on Sunday including the Kabaka Foundation, UNEB and Bank of Uganda. Others are Botladz, Buganda Land Board, Centenary Bank Ltd, Cipla QCIL, Ndejje Corporate Club, Reigners Club, St. Joseph’s Technical Institute Kisubi, St. Mark’s College Namagoma, Stroke Club and Zoe.
