Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) football club goalkeeper, Benjamin Ochan has signed a one year contract extension with the club.
Ochan finally agreed to renew his stay at Phillip Omondi stadium putting pen to paper on a one year deal that will see him stay at the club up to at least January 2018.
The new deal puts to bed the several reports that have been indicating that Ochan was close to joining rivals SC Villa with his old contract expiring next month.
KCCA FC confirmed the new deal through their official media channels on Monday afternoon.
“Goalie Benjamin Ochan has signed a one year extension with the UPL champions. He will stay at the club till January 2018,” read the statement.

Ochan has played an integral part at the Lugogo based club helping the team win last season’s Uganda premier league and the FUFA super cup at the beginning of this season.
He is one of the few players in the league who played all the 15 games in the first round of the 2016/17 season managing 4 clean sheets therein.
Ochan joined KCCA FC from SC Victoria University in January 2015 on a two year deal for his second stint at the Lugogo based club. He had previously played with KCCA during the 2007/08 season.
