
Ghana coach Avram Grant has named an initial provisional squad of eighteen players to start preparations ahead of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Gabon.
The Black Stars were drawn in group D alongside Uganda, Egypt and fellow West Africans, Mali.
The summoned lot is expected to turn up for training on Wednesday 28 December and Black Stars’ call-ups are to report for the training at the St Thomas Aquinas Senior High School training pitch in Accra.

The list sourced from African football has three goalkeepers including Enyimba FC keeper Fatou Dauda, Richard Ofwori from local based Was All Stars and Razak Brimah who plies trade in Spain with Cordoba.
Grant is expected to add more foreign based stars in his squad before they embark on a series of international friendlies early in January.
