Joseph Lwareh Attamah and Austria Lustenau’s Raphael Dwamena are the other two who failed to make the cut despite receiving a summon in the initial provisional squad.
Goalkeeper Fatau Dauda who was called in late to fill up the gap for Rosenberg’s Adam Kwarasey has also booked a flight for his fourth finals. Kwarasey withdrew from the squad due to illness.
The Black stars are looking to better their previous attempt where they lost in the 2015 finals to Ivory Coast. They’re pooled with Uganda, Mali and Egypt in Group D.
