Bageya Seals One Year Zambian Deal

Former Entebbe Young attacking midfielder, Jimmy Bageya, has joined Zambia super league side Napsa Stars Football club.

Napsa stars Media and Public Relations Officer; Gwen Chipasula confirmed the news through a press statement.

“Napsa Stars has strengthened the team ahead of the 2017 MTN/FAZ super league season signing five new players,” Chipasula revealed adding that “The club has signed former Nairobi Stars striker Jimmy Bageya on a one year contract deal.”

“Bageya has joined the team and is since being drilled by Coach Tenant Chilumba and his technical bench in Livingstone where the team is (Livingstone) for pre-season training.”

Other players signed include Congolese striker Pumba Kannic and three from local clubs. They include Chibambo, Austin Banda and Dickson Chapa from Konkola blades.

Bageya’s Journey

Bageya started his football career at Entebbe Young before moving to Gormahia FC in the Kenya premier league in 2002. He has also featured for AFC Leopards, Bandari FC and two stints at Nairobi City Stars where he was until end of the season.

The 30-year old has also featured for Enticelles in the Rwanda Azam premier League and PDF in Botswana.
