The Saints vs BUL
Champions Stadium, Mwererwe 4:30pm
BUL will seek to register successive wins for the first time this season as they take on the Saints on Friday.
Following a commanding performance that saw them defeat Express 3-0 on Tuesday, BUL return to action against Saints at the champions stadium, Mwererwe.
Saints will be playing their maiden game at the team’s new home ground (Mwererwe) since shifting from Bombo barracks.
Frank “Video” Anyau, the BUL head coach believes the team is slowly jelling together and will continue to improve with relegation survival the prime target at the moment.
“We added new players during the January transfer window therefore, they are just fitting into the set up,” he said after the game against Express.
“The victory against Express will motivate us going into the game with the Saints as we aim to improve our position on the league table,” Anyau added.
Both teams languish in the drop zone with BUL 14th on the log with 16 points. Saints on the other hand, occupy 12th position on 18 points but a win for BUL will see them move above the red line.
Anyau is expected to start with Villa Oromchan as the lone striker after his brilliant performance against BUL. However, Yuda Mugalu will not be available following the death of his father.
The Saints on the other hand will rely on veteran striker Godfrey Wakaza who is the main source of goals.
There will be renewal of acquittance for some players. If selected, Johnson Wakalaita will play against his former team BUL. Wakalaita was at BUL last season.
BUL right back Fred Agandu will also face his former employers for the first time since making a move in January.
