Uganda Martyr’s High School vs Gafford Ladies
Gafford Ladies’ search for their first win this season still goes after failing to claim victory in their opening six games.
As they wind up the first round of the league, Gafford Ladies will be aiming to end on a good note with maximum points against tricky Uganda Martyr’s High School this Friday in Rubaga.
The newly promoted side have been a force to reckon with since the start of the season and currently are joint top of the Victoria group with Ajax Queens.
Uganda Martyrs upset last year’s finalists She Corporate with a 3-2 victory in their first game in the league.
They went ahead to condemn Ajax Queens who were in sublime form to their first loss this season and would carry the same mentality ahead of the clash against Gafford Ladies.
In Lilian Nanziri, Resty Mutuuzo and Judith Sanyu, the trio have hurt several teams with their shrewdness in the final third.
Uganda Martyr’s have scored 11 goals in the six games played this season. Only Kawempe Muslim (20) and UCU Lady Cardinals (14) have scored more.
Gafford Ladies have struggled going forward scoring a meager two goals in six games.
Uganda Martyr’s have 13 points in six games same as second placed Ajax Queens while Gafford Ladies are 5th on the table with 5 points.
