The two sides have met thrice before with Jinja SS winning all. James Otim scored the lone winner in the first leg in Jinja. He also scored one in the four goal-rout away to Proline last season, Johnson Wakalaita (now at Bul) made a stunning hattrick.

“The team is fully fit and we expect an explosive encounter we have to try hard and win the game because that will change a lot in the last lap in the race,” Jinja SS coach Abbey Kikomeko is hopeful of a win.

Under Proline FC secret this season, lies the best striker in the country at the moment with 18 goals in 19- Edrisa Lubega. The forward’s exploits have caught the eyes of the national coaches making the squad to Chan in Rwanda and recently scoring a goal for the Under-20’s away.

The Jinja side have been unlucky to lose in two consecutive playoffs in just two years in the division. They boost a ray of attacking options led by Musa Magumba, Joel Madondo and James Otim.
