
In line with the Uganda Premier League chairmen and stakeholder’s resolution to support local clubs playing in CAF club competitions, three matches that were scheduled for next Saturday 11th March 2017 have been pushed or brought forward by a day.
Vipers Sports Club will be facing Platinum Stars from South Africa in the first round of the CAF Confederation Cup at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende on the same day.
The three matches have been affected including the ties between Bright Stars FC and The Saints FC at Mwererwe, Kirinya Jinja S.S.S FC and Express FC in Jinja and SC Villa versus Onduparaka FC in Masaka.
The games in Jinja and Mwererwe have been pushed to Sunday while SC Villa will mark their return to Masaka on Friday pending clearance by FUFA Club Licensing Committee.
