Falcons vs UPDF
Our Saviour vs Sharing Youth
Nkumba marines vs KIU Titans
Ndejje University Angels vs UCU Canons
The men’s National Basketball league will today have much to offer as 8 teams will take Centre stage at the YMCA outdoor court in Wandegeya.
Ndejje University Angels playing UCU Canons may literally be the mouth-watering clash but an encounter that has 6 time record champions Startimes Falcons promises to be the biggest game of all.
Falcons poor run this season has seen them win only one win from 6 trials so far, beating Sharing Youth. The team has suffered defeats to JKL, Betway Power, Nkumba, Warriors and UCU Canons.
Their major problem this season has been the loss of big name players like Stephen Omony who left for City Oilers which has created a narrow depth in their squad.
Coach Bernie Ankunda now juggles the half-baked supporting cast of players with his best pack of Vinie Jurua, Okumu Bernard, Moses Olobo, Kabangu Serge and Francis Karoro but results have not gone his way.
Their opponents today, UPDF Tomahawks threw away what would be their 3rd win of this season when they led three quarters before later succumbing a 72-63 loss against JKL dolphins in their previous encounter.
With the odds standing even on who will take the day, Falcons’ coach Bernie Ankunda will fancy to win this encounter as his next two games will see them face off with KIU Titans and City Oilers.
On the day still, Nkumba Marines will play KIU Titans and Our Saviour will tussle with Sharing Youth.
