Despite a 56-57 loss to KCCA Leopards, JKL Lady Dolphins Coach Henry Malinga managed to pick some positives from his team’s performance.
Speaking after the game, Malinga said: “In the First round, we played a bit more patient … but today we have played a much better beside those few errors which I think I’m able to rectify.”
“We have grown as a team, though, we have not gotten where we are supposed to be. But we will reach those step by step.”
JKL Lady Dolphins missed one of their top players in Jamila ‘Gama’ Nansikombi who is preparing for University games, and close sources believe that she had not been training with JKL for the past week.
“I am a strong believer and as long as we are together, we can achieve our goal,” revealed Malinga.
“My top target still remains taking this team to this year’s play-offs.”
