During their Tuesday match day preview posted on the official Facebook, Jinja moneybags, Bul Football Club revealed that one of their vice captains Hashim Sempala was missing in the team’s camp without prior club permission.

“BUL go into this fixture with five (actually they’re four) serious injury concerns. Milton Karisa (Ankle), Kiiza david (Hamstring), Mukisa Junior (Knee), Wakalaita Johnson and Hashim Sempala (AWOL),” Bul FC Media Liaison Officer Mr. Joseph Mutaka confirmed in his preview.

Mr. Mutaka further revealed to this website that Sempala had requested permission to go attend a burial in the village but however overstayed his leave a situation the head coach Alex Isabirye also confirms.

“He told us (Bul officials) that he had lost a relative (5days ago) and we gave him leave to go for burial and return immediately,” coach Isabirye told Chimp Sport further lamenting that “up to now he has not returned to train and worst is that he has switched off his phone.”

However from a reliable source, Chimp Sport can exclusively report that Hashim Sempala is in Nairobi the capital of Kenya on the verge of joining Paul Nkata’s Tusker FC.

The former Express and URA holding midfielder signed a two year deal in August 2014 that is set to expire at the end of this season.

In a related development, it has also been revealed that James Kasibante who was recently axed from the Jinja club is in Nairobi though it’s not yet clear which club he is eyeing.
