Things have not turned well for the Uganda premier league record holders SC Villa Jogoo since returning from Caf confederations outing.

The blues won only two games against Bul FC and Lweza before going on a five match winless streak where they have lost three including Sunday’s 3-0 humiliation at Lugazi.

The club management suspended five players who include club Captain Jonathan Mugabi, Goal Keeper Nicholas Ssebwato, Misi Katende, AbdulKarim Kasule and Karim Ndugwa for allegations of indiscipline.

An insider in the team’s structures further confided that the penta are being investigated for suspected match fixing.

Three of the last five league clashes that paired the two have been draws and Police claiming the others.

The Jogoos have perched on the eighth place and can only hit a maximum of 54 points therefore not a title contender and the fact that the team was eliminated from the Uganda cup makes this tie a mere formality match with only bragging rights at stake.

Police were pushed down to sixth after URA win over Villa. They have accumulated 41 points with only three games to play to the season’s end
