Ugandan exports registered mixed results in the four matches that were played on Sunday in the Kenya Premier League.

Former Cranes midfield dynamo Musa Mudde struck on the 70th minute to gift coastal side Bandari a 1-0 away win over his former paymasters Sofapaka. The win pushes Bandari to third place with 10 points from five fixtures, while Soapaka formerly coached by Sam Timbe drifts just a place above relegation zone.

Former Maroons forward George Abege featured for an hour for the coastal side before paving way to Dan Sserunkuma.

Hamza Muwonge was in goal when his club Thika united suffered their third straight home defeat in the hands of table toppers Mathare United. The Thika side lost to Harold Ndege’s lone strike. They remain rooted on the 15th place with no win.

In the other matches played, a late tap in from on-form Allan Kateregga was enough for an equalizer to maintain AFC Leopards five match unbeaten run. The leopards had suffered an early opener from Chemilil Sugar’s Dennis Onkangi.

In Machakos, Tusker coach Fred Nkata was left furious after his men failed to pick a much needed home win to drive top of the table as the brewers were held in a thrilling four-goal draw against Kenyan tax collectors, Ushuru Fc. Shafiq Batambuze and Fred NKATA Jr both featured in the game.

Tusker FC 2-2 URA FC

AFC Leopards 1-1 Chemilil (Katerega scored for hosts)

Sofapaka 0-1 Bandari (Mudde goal)

Thika United 0-1 Mathare united
