Uganda National Football team the Cranes picked 3 points out of the possible 6 in their recent double header against the Egyptian Pharaohs in a 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualification Group E match.
The achievement has left Uganda with something to smile for, with Uganda rising 2 places in the FIFA World Rankings.
Recently Uganda was in 73rd position with 464 points but the new rankings revealed on Thursday have seen Uganda move to 71st place with 486 points.
The Rank puts Uganda above respected footballing nations like South Africa, Norway and Zambia.
On the African Continent, Uganda stands in 14th place.

Egypt fell 5 places and are ranked 30th, Ghana and Congo are now ranked 52nd and 95th respectively with the latter falling 14 places.
Elsewhere
Germany usurped Brazil to take the top spot and are now closely followed by Portugal and Argentina to complete the top 4.
