Police FC 2-0 Proline
Police Football Club ascended to the summit of the Azam Uganda Premier League with a comfortable 2-0 victory against Proline FC.
In the game played at Mandela National stadium, a goal in either half by striker Norman Ogik ensured the cops earned all three points.
Police were the better team right from onset with Ogik troubling Proline’s centre back partnership of Ibrahim Ssendi and Savio Kabugo.
The first goal of the game came in the 32nd minute with Norman Ogik tappi g home Albert Mugisa’s ground cross.
With the introduction of Ben Ocen for Yasin Mugume, Police even had more fire power upfront.
Ogik scored his second goal of the day with another simple finish tapping home Ben Ocen’s lay up pass.
Gift Ali initiated a run within his own half and released Ben Ocen who played up on rushing Ogik to fire into an empty net.
The win means Police move to seven points on top of the league while Proline are bottom of the table on one point.
