Kyabazinga stadium, Bugembe
Saturday, 23rd September 4pm
Kirinya Jinja SS have had a fine start to the new season collecting four points in two games and yet to concede a goal.
After a goalless draw away to Express FC on match day one, the school side put up a fantastic display to edge past URA FC 1-0 thanks to Isaac Ntege’s free kick.
And ahead of the highly anticipated Jinja derby this Saturday, Kirinya Jinja SS under the stewardship of Charles Ayieko come into the game in high spirits.
Besides Bashir Mutanda and Sabir Nesta who are still sidelined with injuries, the rest of the team is up selection.
There is also a boost of Fred Amaku who has got clearance to play since making his move from Paidha Black Angels and is expected to make his début today.
On the other hand, Kefa Kisala has had a stormy start to the season picking just a point in two games.
Kisala is however confident ahead of the showdown and believes his team is capable of earning a positive result.
“The start has not been perfect for us but we are slowly improving on our mistakes and I believe we are prepared enough to take on Jinja SS,” he said.
The two meetings between the two sides last season ended in goalless stalemates.
