The encounter between Police FC and Vipers is without a doubt the biggest game of match day five in the Uganda Premier League.
After a two week long international break, the league resumed on Tuesday with a number of games but the clash between Police FC and Vipers comes at the forefront.
The game comes with several aspects embroiled it such as Police head coach Abdallah Mubiru facing his former bosses.
This coupled with the resurgence of Police FC this season and Vipers who have been grinding results to remain one of the unbeaten teams spices up the game.
The cops have built up a formidable squad with crafty midfielder Albert Mugisa proving to be the fulcrum of the team together with strikers Norman Ogik and Hood Kaweesa upfront.
On the other hand, Vipers have shown their intent of competing for the title this season with a brilliant start.
The Venoms remain the only side yet to concede a goal in the division with goalkeeper keeping four clean sheets therein.
The timely return of Congolese forward Moussa Clovis Mbayi from injury seems to be a big boost for Miguel Da Costa.
Mbayi has scored three goals in the buildup games and could be handed his debut today against Police FC.
Vipers sit top of the table on ten points while Police FC is third on seven points.
