KCCA FC vs Bright Stars
Startimes stadium 4:30pm
Midfielder Saddam Juma will be line to make his long awaited debut this Tuesday as KCCA FC host Bright stars at Startimes stadium.
Saddam joined KCCA FC towards the end of last season and only featured for the club on two occasions with both games coming in the CAF champions league ( against FUS Rabat and Club Africain).
Since then, the crafty midfielder has been on the sidelines injured and has not been part of the team in the opening five games of the season.
However, after a successful recovery process, the player could be destined to make his league debut for the champions according to Coach Mike Mutebi.
“It is great news that he returns to the squad. Saddam is a talented player and I believe he has the potential to play the role of a deep lying creative midfielder that is so crucial in modern football,” he said.
“I believe he is ready and will be up for selection in tomorrow’s game against Bright stars,” he added.
Saddam himself is happy to return and indicates he is fully focused to help the team.
“I’m delighted that have gone through the rehabilitation process and fully recovered from the injury. I’m looking forward to making my league debut,” he asserted.
KCCA FC come into this game on the back of a 3-1 away win against BUL FC and welcome back defender Isaac Muleme who missed the game against BUL FC.
On the hand, Bright stars will be looking to recover from the 1-0 loss to Maroons and skipper Nelson Ssenkatuka will be facing former employers KCCA FC.
KCCA FC are 4th on the log with nine points while Bright stars occupy 9th position with six points.
