Azam Uganda Premier League
Kirinya Jinja SS 2-1 Proline FC
Kirinya Jinja SS Football Club continued their dream start to the season with yet another win on Tuesday.
After earning a hard-fought 1-0 victory away to Masavu in Entebbe, the school side followed it with another win against Proline FC.
The game played on Tuesday at Kyabazinga stadium saw Kirinya stage a comeback to eventually win 2-1.
A first half brace from striker Musa Esenu cancelled out David Owori’s earlier goal that gave Proline the lead.
Proline FC took the lead through Owori who converted from a penalty three minutes after the half hour mark.
However, the lead only lasted three minutes with Esenu levelling matters also from the spot kick.
He scored his second on the day a minute to the interval and this eventually turned out to be the decider.
The result means Kirinya Jinja SS ascend to the summit of the league on 11 points while Proline drop to 8th place on seven points.
