Azam Uganda Premier League
URA FC 4-0 BUL FC
Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) returned to winning ways in style with a comfortable win against BUL FC.
After going four games without testing victory, Ibrahim Kirya who was under pressure finally got a sigh of relief by easing past BUL.
In the game played on Tuesday at Mandela National stadium, the tax collectors put up a resuscitated performance to win 4-0 in one sided game.
Charles Ssempa gave URA FC an early lead with a classic finish off his left foot.
A ground cross from Fred Okot met Ssempa unmarked just outside the area before unleashing a powerful shot into the bottom right corner.
The home side continued to trouble BUL back line and Abdurahman Ajab could have doubled the lead moments later but failed to convert faced with an empty goal.
Despite marching URA FC for the reminder of the first half, BUL FC conceded a minute after recess with Henry Kisekka heading home Charles Ssempa’s delivery from a corner kick.
Ajab who has troubled the visitors the entire game got onto the score sheet in the 66th minute before second half substitute Ronald Kigongo completed the rout in stoppage time.
URA FC move to 6th place on eight points while BUL FC drop to 13th place on five points.
