UPL Result

Busoga United 1-0 Kyetume

Lawrence Tezikya first half penalty was enoghh to see Busoga United through to a 1-0 win against Kyetume

Tezikya scored after 29 minutes past goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa and the hosts held on for the slender victory at the Mighty Arena, Jinja.

Mutakubwa had brought down Sharif Kimbowa in the area and referee, Ssali Mashood had nothing to do but point to the spot.

Busoga United’s shot stopper, Ali Kimera was stretched to the limits to guard his side’s win gifting the vibrant fans  with something to cheer about after braving the biting cold.

Undoubtedly, Kimera won the man of the match accolade and parted with UGX 100,000.

Busoga United’s win sees them dislodge URA FC from the 4th position.

For Kyetume, this is their 13th defeat of the campaign leaving them 9th on the table with 30 points.
