South African giants Kaizer Chiefs have put Ugandan duo of Sula Matovu and Ivan Bukenya in the transfer list, the club website officially confirms.

The Soweto based side had a relatively poor season with no single silverware finishing fifth with 46 points, a whole 25 below the crowned winners  Mamelodi Sundowns. Chiefs also lost the finals of the Telekom knockout cup to the Brazilians.

Sula joined the club at the beginning of the season but has found playtime hard to get.

The left-footed midfielder crossed to South Africa after his contract with Swedish side Hacken had expired with no option for renewal. He has previously turned out for Ethiopian side St George and Iraq club Erbil.

Bukenya has endured a hot and cold season, though he spent most of the time on the sidelines.

The defender-cum-midfielder has spent three seasons at Chief since joining on a free transfer in August 2013 for two years which was later renewed earlier in the just concluded season.

The two are among twenty players heading out of the team in what looks like a major overhaul.
