In line with the greater road map to football development, the federation of Uganda Football Associations is partnering with Tangosport to bring yet another beginners Coaching Course to be taught at the Fufa Technical Center in Njeru from 11th to 15th April, 2016.
“Fufa has always worked towards developing the game through various education programmes for coaches, club managers, referees, media, medical practitioners, players, fans and so on. It is to this effect that Tango sport decided to partner with the federation to bring another valuable course of this nature near to the people and we trust this will go a great deal like we have done before,” Tangosport manager Mr. Joseph Mutaka said
“Those interested in taking up the four-day course need to register at our offices or at the Fufa technical center in Njeru. This is especially targeting people from the central region, eastern, southeast and those other areas that found it hard to do similar courses that were done in Kampala. The space is limited at the center so we need maximum of thirty participants.”
Willing participants are expected to pay UgX 100,000 per individual to cater for some of the expenses throughout the course.
Three similar coaching courses were carried out last year in September both in Kampala and at Njeru. Current Bul FC assistant coach Hussein Kato was among the participants.
“This kind of courses are meant to introduce ex-football players to a new career after enjoying their playing days. Active players, school coaches/games masters and even fans are encouraged to participate.”
The course will be facilitated by Fufa and CAF instructors like Asuman Lubowa (Fufa Technical Director), Jackson Nyima (Fufa Education officer) and Livingstone Kyambadde (Caf instructor).
