Katwe United head coach Allan Kabonge has come out to shade light on the supposed missing three month unpaid salary from his paymasters.
The CAF ‘C’ holding Coach Kabonge joined Katwe United on a one-year contract deal last year club as a replacement for Hassan Mubiru.
In a letter addressed to the Uganda Football Coaches Association, Kabonge says he has gone 3 months without pay from his bosses and insists the club has mistreated him.
“I’m eligible to receive a remuneration gross salary at the rate of UGX 1,500,000 per month payable at the last day of the month as the employee contract stated. Unfortunately, the salary due to me for the last three months (UGX 4,500,000) is pending and has not bee credited to my bank account as of date,” Kabonge noted.
The statement adds, “The grand total of the unpaid salary and the pending sign on fee I am demanding Katwe United Football Club is Six millions. Therefore, I’m bringing this matter to your attention expecting a quick solution to this problem.”

Katwe United, owned by Makindye West Member of Parliament Allan Sewanyana, currently sits on the bottom of the Elgon group with 9 points and 5 matches left on the 2019/20 season calendar.
