The development was confirmed by the club Chairman Kimera Richard on Monday afternoon.

“The UPDF department of engineering is so impressed by our performance. We assured them that we are capable of going unbeaten in the league and indeed it happened and so they presented us with that amazing gift,” Kimera noted.

He added, “I want to thank the team’s administration. We have been successful because of a clear vision and organizational structure. Our vision of playing in the Uganda premier league in the next two years is still clear.”

According to Kimera, the new bus will be available for the club’s upcoming qualification play-off fixture against Admin FC as the club seek to join the second division, FUFA Big league.

Following the premature ending of football activities, Gadafi FC which finished the season unbeaten in the Nile group will play Admin FC that topped the Bukedi group in a one-legged promotional playoff match to determine the Eastern region Champion.
