
Ugandan representatives in the 2016 CAF confederation cup, Sports Club Villa Jogoo have left the country by road for their second leg of their first round against Zanzibar’s Jeshi la Kujenga Uchumi (JKU FC).
The match will be played on Friday 18th March at the Azam stadium in Zanzibar.
The Jogoos who began their journey at around 3 AM on Wednesday morning the morning travelled in a contingent of 21.
The delegation will be led by Fufa’s Ariga Rasoul Ariga. Interim head coach coach Frank ‘Video’ Anyau and Coach Ibrahim Kirya will be in charge of the technical matters and will be assisted team manager Valley Mugwanya and team physio.
The technical bench carried all players who featured in the first leg 4-0 win save for Martin Kiiza whose omission was unclear.
Kiiza came in as a 76th minute substitute for Ambrose Kirya. Both the Second keeper Ashadu Bugembe and forward Robert Achema did not touch the ball in Saturday win but have travelled with the team.
Villa need not to lose by 4-0 margin if they are to qualify for the next round. The aggregate winner of the tie will face either FUS Rabat (Morocco) or UMS De Loum from Cameroon. The two played to a one all in Yaonde on Friday.
