
Kyambogo College and Green Acres junior emerged the best in the secondary and Primary schools category of the 7th 2016 ICPAU juniors Woodball championships held at the Kings college Buddo over the weekend.
Edrin Ibanda from St Kizito High school scored 60 stroke to lead the boys category and guide his team to a silver medal.
Kyambogo college reigned overall with 254 points, 22 ahead of St. kizito’s total tally while Luzira SS finished in the last podium lace with 278 points.
Girls.
Brenda Birungi (68 strokes) led her Kyambogo team of four to the girls crown with 296 points beating Mary Repatriax girls school (300) and Mpoma school.
In the primary school level Green Acres finished with 216 and 221 to claim the girls and boys respectively.
John Okure (Motherwell Jr) hit 41, the best recorded amongst his peers whereas Ahmed Tukia from the eventual champions led the school girls with 51.
