After completing his return to the six-time Uganda Premier League winners Express Football Club, midfielder Yaya Mahad Kakooza has revealed his primary target ahead of next season.
Kakooza reunited with the Red Eagles on a two-year contract from relegated side Proline FC.
The midfielder disclosed his main target as winning the 2020/2021 UPL title.
“I feel very happy to have returned to Express FC because the team is in my blood and my heart,” Kakooza told the club media.
He added, “Our targets are many but first pray to God to give us a good season but as players and we want to win a trophy as a primary target. As a midfielder, I have to create good chances that will result into goals so that my team can win games.”
The 22-year old had previously left Wankulukuku in 2017 for arch rivals Sports Club Villa. He also played for Tooro United in 2018/2019 campaign.
Kakooza is the Eighth signing made by the club so far, after Cryspus Kusiima, Denis Otim, Richard Bbosa, Abel Eturude, Baker Sakah, Godfrey Lwesibawa and Mustafa Kiragga.
