Midfielder Mutyaba Sends Farewell Message to KCCA FC

Midfielder Muzamir Mutyaba has bid farewell to KCCA Football Club, following his departure which was confirmed by the club’s PRO Moses Magero on Sunday.

Mutyaba has been the club’s longestb serving player after joining the Kasassiro Boys in 2015.

In his message, Mutyaba has reflected on the special memories he shared with the 13-time Uganda Premier League winners.

“After 5 years I say goodbye to this beautiful club. Ever since I donned the KCCA FC jersey, I felt home,” read part of the message before adding,

“The club has played a huge development in me as a player and human being. Thank you to everyone at the club. To the special memories we share its time to say goodbye to the club, Media, coaching and non coaching stuff, fans and welwishers you will still hold a special place in my heart.”

“Its time to follow the team as a fan maybe in the future we will meet again,” he concluded.

He had joined KCCA FC from defunct Sports Club Victoria University and has gone on to win three UPL trophies, two Uganda Cup trophies, Pilsner Super Eight, FUFA Super Cups and the recent 2019 CECAFA Kagame cup.

He was named the 2017 Airtel FUFA Male footballer of the year.

He is the ninth player to vacate Lugogo after Jackson Nunda (URA FC), Mike Mutyaba (Retired), Eric Senjobe (Police FC), Kizza Mustafa (Montreal Impact), Jamil Malyamungu among others.
