Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) has officially unveiled goalkeeper Hannington Sebwalunyo, becoming their second off-season signing.
Sebwalunyo joins the Tax collectors from relegated side Maroons Football Club on a three-year deal.
After finalizing his paperwork and, the lanky shot stopper has reflected on joining URA FC, and believes it has been his dream to play for such an institution since his early childhood.
“Its a pleasure for me to join URA, its a big institution and it has been my childhood dream to play for this team. Its a dream come true for me and I just fell at home currently,” he noted.
The former Bidco Uganda Limited Football Club custodian (BUL FC) now joins midfielder Jackson Nunda as the other signing made by coach Sam Ssimbwa ahead of next season.
Last week, URA FC also confirmed the appointment of Henry Mayeku becoming their Chief Executive Officer for the next three years.
Former SC Villa duo of winger David Owori and forward Bashir Mutanda, together with former Vipers SC striker Steven Mukwala are other players expected to be unveiled in the coming days by the tax collectors.
Last season, the Nakawa based outfit finished 5th with 40 points from 25 games before the league was cut short after the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic.
