16-time Uganda Premier League Champions, Sports Club Villa have announced the signing of striker Ssekiranda “Da Lima” Derrick ahead of next season.
The 24-year old center forward has reportedly penned a two-year deal with the Jogoos that will see him stay at the club until 2022.
He has joined the Jogoo ranks having built his profile with Proline Academy, KCCA U17, Jolly Stars FC, Kayosa SC, Kampala Junior Team and most recently with Mengo United.
At the UPL record Champions, he will don shirt 16 and he’s expected to fill the void left by Bashir Mutanda who moved on to Mbarara City.
He joins midfielder Goffin Godfrey Oyirwoth, goalkeeper Meddie Kibirige, forward Isaac “Falcao” Ogwang and left back Andrew Kiwanuka as other signings made by the club in this window.
SC Villa also renewed contracts of goalkeeper Saidi Keni and Joseph Nsubuga and are reported to have finalized talks with defender Nasser Lukwago.
