Uganda Cranes have successfully concluded their Nine-day training camp in Dubai which was arranged in preparation for the forthcoming AFCON qualification round three and Four games.
The training camp was ended with a capacity building session that was conducted by the Leader of Delegation and FUFA Exco member Ronnie Kalema and the team’s coach Jonathan McKinstry on Monday.
Kalema stressed the essence of the players and coaches to prove how valuable they are to the game of football and pledged more support on behalf of FUFA in ensuring the Cranes become the best team in Africa on and off the pitch.
“Our vision of becoming the number one football nation in Africa on and off the pitch and If we want to promote the game in Uganda, we must be ready to meet the needs of our strategy as FUFA. This is the idea behind the Pro Agenda programme that offers such a vast array of different possibilities to enhance the capacity of National team, staff (players and coaches),” Kalema noted as quoted via FUFA Website.

The team returns home today with two foreign based players Joseph Ochaya and Jamal Salim who will later connect to their respective clubs while the rest of the foreign based players will fly direct to their clubs.
The camp was in line with the AFCON qualifiers double header against South Sudan scheduled for November and as well as the African Nations Championship (CHAN) Tournament that will be hosted in Cameroon next year.
