Uganda Cranes striker Derrick Nsibambi has been voted as the 2019/2020 season’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) for Egyptian Premier League outfit, Smouha Sports Club.
The former KCCA FC talisman was declared the club’s best player for the campaign during the club’s end of season party held on Thursday.
The 26-year old striker only managed to play the second round of the league featuring in just 18 games with three goals and one assist.

He added, “After our last league today, my focus will now shift to the South Sudan game because I want to emulate my club form onto the national team (Uganda Cranes).”
Derrick Nsibambi joined Smouha SC in 2018 and has made 43 appearances in all competitions, recording six goals, and adding four assists to his name.
Smouha Sports Club, positioned 5th on 48 points, will play their final game of season on Saturday, hosting Masr at Alexandria stadium.
