Players Abroad: Luwagga on Target for Hapoel, Okello Makes Season Debut for Paradou

Another action packed weekend it was for Ugandan born players trading their talent in the diaspora, ChimpReports again brings you a detailed report of their Saturday and Sunday performances.

In Israel, Uganda Cranes forward Kizito William Luwagga went off the mark as his side Hapoel Kfar Saba drew 1-1 with Hapoel Hadera in Israel Premier League becoming the 5th leading goal scorer in the season with four goals.

Attacking midfielder Allan Okello made his 2020/2021 season debut as his Paradou Athletic Club played to a two all draw with CS Constantine.

In Morocco, Nelson Ssenkatuka was not included in Mogreb Tetouan’s squad that lost 2-0 at home to Chabab Mohammedia. Fellow cranes compatriot, Patrick Henry Kaddu didn’t also feature for his new side Youssoufia Berrechid as they lost 2-0 to Wydad Casablanca.

In the Czech Republic second division, left back Isaac Muleme played full time as his Viktoria Zizkov side drew 1-1 with Jihlava.

In the English League 1, Jordan Obita played full time and also got booked as Oxford United drew 1-1 with Hull city while Karl Mubiru Ikpeazu didn’t feature for his Wycombe Wanderers side as they fired blanks with Preston in the English Championship

In the Portuguese Segunda, left back Alex Kakuba was an used substitute as CD Cova Piedade cruised past Varnim with a 3-1 away win.

In the Estonia Meistrilliga, striker Edrisa Lubega Torres was an unused substitute as his Paide Linameskond side beat Kalju 7-4 at home.

In the English League 2, Elvis Bwomono featured for 90 minutes as Southend united drew goalless against Stevenage.

In Scotland, Bevis Mugabi featured for 90 minutes as his Motherwell FC side lost 3-0 at home toHibernian.

In the Danish Premier League, Moses Opondo came on in 78th minute for Frokjaer as his Odense FC side beat Aalborg FC 2-1 at home. Robert Kakeeto wasn’t in Aalborg’s match day squad.

In the Turkish Premier League, striker Miya Farouk wasn’t in the match day squad due to a muscle injury as his Konyaspor FC side beat Erzurum BB 2-0 at home.

In South Africa, Denis Onyango featured for 90 minutes as Mamelodi Sundowns drew 1-1 with Maritzburg United in the Premier Super League.
