  • BUL FC 3-1 Busoga United

Joseph Semujju starred with a hat trick as BUL FC sailed last Busoga United 3-1 at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru to claim bragging rights in the Jinja derby.

The former Sports Club Villa striker went on the score line on the 45th minute as BUL FC took the lead at halftime on Tuesday evening.

The goal scoring machine then doubled the hosts’ lead after 65 minutes through a wonder strike before competing his hat-trick on the sunny evening four minutes later.

Midfielder Jerome Kirya managed to pull one back for Abbey Kikomeko’s Busoga United though his late strike to serve as a mere consolation.

BUL now has four points from two matches having drawn 2-2 with SC Villa on match day one and will visit UPDF FC at Bombo barracks playground on Saturday.

After their second consecutive defeat, Busoga United will be seeking solace on the day they welcome depleted Kyetume at FUFA Technical Center.

Busoga United lost their opening match of the 2020/2021 Uganda Premier League season to UPDF FC after a 3-0 defeat in Bombo.
