Buddu progressed to the 2020 Masaza Cup semifinals after a 2-0 win over Mawokota on Tuesday at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.
Super-sub Farouk Ssekayi and Marvin Kavuma scored two late goals for the 2016 champions, completing the last four puzzle.
Buddu’s first goal came after 84th minutes through substitute Ssekayi who moments after replacing Sharif Ssengendo was setup by Sematimba Titus inside the area before firing in the top corner.
Ssekayi later provided an assist for Kavuma who produced an exquisite finishing past Bugerere goalkeeper Anthony Emojong in the second minute of added time.
Buddu will play against defending champions Bulemeezi in one of Thursday semi-finals. Bulemeezi ejected Busujju 3-1 on the quarter-finals.
The other semifinal fixture pits four-time record champions Gomba against 2019 runners up Busiro on the same day.
