Uganda Cranes forward Fahad Bayo’s scoring spree continued during his side Ashdod FC’s 4-0 marauding victory against Bnei Yehuda in the Israeli Premier League on Wednesday evening.
Bayo scored Ashdod’s second goal after 59 minutes taking his tally to four goals in 14 ganes before providing an assist to Mohammed Kanaan for the third three minutes later.
Dean David header (25′) and substitute Oz Bilu (90+4′) scored the other goals to complete the rout as Ashdod went onto 28 points from 16 games to settle for the 4th position.
His countryman and defender Timothy Awany also featured for 90 minutes, receiving a caution after 59 minutes for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Elsewhere, Cranes midfielder Kizito William Luwagga, who has so far scored six goals this season, featured his Hapoel Kfar Saba’s side 1-0 loss to Maccabi Netanya.
In Scotland, defender Bevis Mugabi was on target as Motherwell edged Ross County 2-1 away from home in the Scottish Premier League.
Motherwell, now 10th on 22 points, will play host to Dundee United in their next league game on Wednesday 3rd February at Fir Park stadium.
