Striker Yunus Sentamu has completed his return to Uganda Premier League defending champions Vipers Sports Club.
Sentamu returns to Kitende on a two-year contract for the second stint having made his name in his first spell at the club, scoring six goals in 13 games before moving to Congolese side AS Vita in 2014.
“Danucho” as he’s commonly known, also represented St Mary’s SS Kitende, (the club’s junior side) in the 2013 National Post Primaries in Kabale where he scored 16 goals, two short of the tournament top-scorer.
“Everyone knows the special relationship l have with this club and it has always felt like home to me. My desire to win is still the same and l look forward to the opportunity to help the team achieve. I am excited for this next chapter of my career,” Sentamu told the Club website after putting ink to paper.

Donning the national team colors, Sentamu was part of the Uganda Cranes team that played at the 2014 Total Africa Nations Championship squad in South Africa where he netted a brace against Burkina Faso and consolation strike against Morocco.
Besides Vipers and AS Vita, the forward also played for CS Sfaxien (Tunisia), llves (Finland) and KF Tirana in Albania.
He will don shirt number 12 previously worn by midfielder Rahmat Ssenfuka and is expected to make his debut when the Venoms play against MYDA on Saturday February 6 when the league resumes.
