URA football club has set off to Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania ahead of their two international build up friendlies.
The club unveiled ten new players to the press on Thursday at their training grounds in Gayaza before flying out.
The tax collectors will take on Azam FC and Simba sports club on Friday 12th and Sunday 14th respectively.
The Friday match will be played at the Azam complex and then National stadium in Dar Es Salaam against Simba.
“I’m happy for the two international friendly matches, I believe the players will get tested and this will help us as we are heading to the start of 2016-17 Azam Uganda Premier league”, URA FC head coach Kisala Kefa said.
Club technical director, Mr. Geoffrey Kyondo led the contingent of 25 players and officials.
This is the third year in a row the tax collectors are crossing the borders to play Simba after a 1-0 victory in September 2014 and 2-1 loss last year.
Kisala is taking the team outside the country for the first time since winning the 2016 Mapinduzi cup early January in Zanzibar.
