The Uganda rugby cranes declined in the recent world rugby rankings that were released on Monday, 10th October 2016.
The rugby cranes dropped one place from 42nd position to 43rd in the September rankings despite maintaining their stay in CAR tier 1A.
The John Duncan coached side defeated Zimbabwe and Kenya to secure their slot in the second year running but have slipped one place down with Colombia dislodging them.
Colombia defeated Venezuela 35-10 in a Sudamerica Rugby B championship to move to 42nd position.
Neighbours Kenya remained unmoved holding onto the 22nd position while Africa’s top ranked team South Africa declined from third to fourth.
The Springbok have been on a downward spiral and lost to New Zealand over the weekend 57-15 in the world rugby championship.
New Zealand maintained their stay at the summit of the rankings for now a record seventh year running and made record for the most ranking points earned.
The All blacks climbed to the highest points total of any team since the rankings were introduced in 2003, sitting on 96.57 points.
England are second, while Australia move from fourth to third dislodging South Africa.
